Public-Private Partnerships

Track: Business

Session Number: 1126
Date: Mon, Dec 14th, 2020
Time: 12:15 PM - 1:00 PM

Description:

Collaboration among multiple entities is the hallmark of new fiber-to-the-premises initiatives across the country, particularly because federal and state grant programs encourage such cooperation. The most common of these models are Public-Private Partnerships, one in which an entity with infrastructure expertise (such as a city or electric utility) builds and maintains the fiber infrastructure, while another entity (this one with operations and service expertise) lights and operates the network.

Join President of CTC Technology and Energy, Joanne Hovis, as well as a panel of experts to learn the features of this model and how it is replicating itself across the country, among both public and private entities.
