CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

 

• Designed and implemented a microwave broadband network covering the bulk of Aroostook County, Maine making Pioneer Broadband the first broadband provider in some municipalities.
• Established cross-border 1 Gbps microwave data link into New Brunswick in 2006 to offer Northern Maine businesses an alternate route to the Internet.
• Created a datacenter in Presque Isle, Maine in the basement of Key Bank on Main Street. The area was a computer room for the Casco Northern mainframe in the 1970s.  http://www.pioneerdatacenter.net
• Established a cross-border fiber optic cable connection to Bell Aliant in New Brunswick in 2010.
• Constructed multi-site fiber-fed remote terminal DSL network throughout the Greater Houlton, Maine area.
• Designed and implemented neighborhood FTTH systems in Big Lake, Westfield, New Limerick, Linneus, and Hodgdon., Maine.
• Designed and implemented a FTTH overbuild on an old copper CATV plant in Sherman and Stacyville, Maine.
• Designed and implemented FTTH system for nearly all of the Town of Houlton, Maine.
• Designed and implemented neighborhood FTTH system for Premium Choice Broadband – Newbury Neck Road, Surry, Maine.
• Designed open access dark fiber infrastructure for Downeast Broadband Utility – Baileyville and Calais, Maine.
• Designed and implemented FTTH system for Hodgdon, Maine, Benedicta, Maine and parts of Herseytown, Maine.
