Description:

Humanity has entered the 4th industrial revolution, which will empower a fusion of digital, physical, and biological systems. 5G technology and the broadband (fiber) that supports it is a foundational catalyst for this convergence. Eisenhower Fellow and Emerging Technology and Future of Work Strategist Adam Zuckerman will highlight opportunities for growth in the new economy as a direct result of this shift (often manifested as unforeseeable consequences to the uninformed), and how companies need to remain agile as broadband increases capacity in the near and long term. In this session, Adam will highlight how broadband (fiber) is the essential piece of the puzzle that will improve the application of transformative technologies and concepts including artificial intelligence, machine learning, AR/VR/MR, deepfakes, smart cities, Internet of Things (IoT), and even what it means to be human.
