Go!Foton will discuss its insights towards the transformation of the fiber connectivity layer in existing Central Offices in support of denser, faster and more predictable rollout strategies to ensure a smooth transition for fiber rich applications – such as NFV, CPRI tapping, CRAN Hub densification and next-gen PON architectures.  GoFoton has been working in collaboration with a large, US Tier 1 service provider to address the challenges of working with large fiber count cables and increased connection density to support the tie-in of large metro core and core network routers.   In this presentation Go!Foton will present a series of case studies which address the many lessons learned while integrating and packaging passive optical components within the PEACOC high density fiber connectivity platform, enabling our US service provider customers the highest degree of flexibility to support all their deployment needs. NB:  We may be able to secure a co-presenter from Verizon Transport Network Engineering team to talk about 3rd case study for Intelligent Patch Panels.

Learning Objective #2: Case study #1 will focus on installation of a muti-service edge router which incorporates the tie-in of 40G and 100G circuits. Case study #2 will address the fiber routing and management challenges commonly faced by operators with limited rack space.
